As a child, I discovered my great-great grandfather Baxter's collection of vintage postcards dating back to the early 1900's. These albums preserved a time in history that was much simpler and carefree. The cards yield brief life updates, send wishes of good tidings and share vacation memories with those back home, often using those familiar words, "Having a great time. Wish you were here!" For me, postcards provide an escape from the realities we face everyday. They evoke good feelings and a sense of nostalgia, taking us to another place in another time.

Tourist Treasures grew out of my love for vintage postcards. (It must be in the genes!) When I shared my business idea with my dear friend and Creative Consultant, Candy Lenderman (a retired school teacher and history buff), we began developing a catalog of products inspired by our common interest. As a result, Tourist Treasures was conceived.

We hope that you discover a bit of nostalgia as you browse through our site. In a rapid world of change, it's nice to find fragments of our past that can take us back to an uncomplicated place in time.
